The Paul Brumaghim Memorial Scholarship

The Paul Brumaghim Memorial Scholarship is named for longtime Shelter Agent Paul Brumaghim from Danville. Paul was a tireless supporter of the Insurance Industry and was a mentor to many. We will award at least (4) $500 Scholarships this year to deserving High School Seniors who plan to major in Insurance, Finance, Business or some other field related to the Financial Services Industry in College. The deadline for submissions is Thursday, April 30th. See Mrs. Kirkton for application.

CBAI Foundation for Community Banking Annual Scholarship

Recipients are determined by an essay-writing contest and an impartial panel of judges. Eligible students are Illinois high-school seniors graduating in the spring and entering an institution of higher education in the fall.The prize awarded for the overall winner is $1,000 per year for up to four years, with up to 11 additional awards of $1,000 and up to 12 second-place awards of $500 each, depending on the quality of entries. See Mrs. Kirkton for application. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2020.

Thomas Dixon Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students in the Kirby Medical Center service area who are pursuing careers in health related fields. Applications are due March 13, 2020.

 

DeWitt County Pheasants Forever

The DeWitt County Pheasants Forever/Thomas F. Cooper Memorial Scholarship is a $500 scholarship awarded to a high school senior in the DeWitt County Scholastic area. This student must be college bound in an Agriculture or Conservation field of study. Due February 15th, 2020.

 

The Independent Order of Odd Fellow and Rebekahs of Illinois

Available to current high school seniors who will be attending a college, university, or trade school in the fall of 2020. Application is due March 1st, 2020.

 

Dr. John Warner Hospital Foundation Scholarship

Applicants must be a DeWitt County resident and is available for any student accepted into a hospital-related health care professional curriculum. Applications are due April 3rd, 2020.

 

Butch Fisher Memorial Scholarship Announcement

Given through the Piatt County Soil and Water Conservation District. Deadline is April 30, 2020. Amount awarded: $1,000.

 

Piatt County VFW Children of Veterans Scholarship

A $250 scholarship will be awarded to a Piatt County resident and a 2020 graduating senior who is a child, stepchild, or under guardianship of an active duty, reserve, honorably discharged, retired or deceased member of the U.S. Armed Forces. Applications are due April 11th, 2020.

 

Illinois Sheriff's Association

The Illinois Sheriff's Association will be awarding over 100 $500 scholarships to Illinois residents who will be a full time student during the 2020-2021 school year. Applications are due March 15th, 2020.

Township Officials of Illinois

The Township Officials of Illinois Scholarship Fund is awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan on continuing their education at Illinois colleges and universities. Applications are due March 1st, 2020.
