AVAILABLE NON-CERTIFIED POSITIONS:

• ANTICIPATED ONE-ON-ONE PARAPROFESSIONAL/CLASSROOM AIDE

  • Paraprofessionals play an essential role within school districts. Under the supervision of a licensed teacher, a paraprofessional supports teachers and students many ways. For instance, a paraprofessional can tutor students or assist the teacher with classroom management and organizing instructional materials. This position will also require one on one student assistance as needed.  Hourly rate to be determine by appropriate placement on current ESP Wage Schedule (see below).

• SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVER

  • DeLand-Weldon CUSD #57 has an immediate opening for a substitute bus drivers.  Regular daily route pays for two hours in the morning and two hours in the afternoon.  In addition to covering the daily routes, there is the possibility for paid extra-curricular/athletics routes to supplement income. License, expenses and related training are paid by the district.  Eligible applicants must be able to pass a background screening and DOT physical with drug screen.
